How well is Jessica Simpson’s music doing on the country charts? ?

I heard a DJ in a radio interview with Jessica Simpson say her music is doing “phenomenally well” on the country charts. I’ve seen the video for Come On Over on CMT a couple of times, but I haven’t listened to country radio at all in months. I’m wondering if that DJ was just exaggerating because Jessica was in-studio. Is she really doing that well?

   she’s doing okay i guess. people aren’t really accepting her though,(because of her jealous of carrie underwood and how she’s “ruining the face of country”) but i bet when her CD comes out things will change a little

   No. It barely cracked the top 20, and it’s on the way down, according to the Billboard charts. Whatever you heard about a “phenomenal” hit is just all smoke and lights.
